Why you tap instead of a machine guessing

Automatic alignment sounds like the obvious feature, and over a finished mix it is the least reliable one: stacked harmonies, ad-libs, backing vocals and anything sung fast pull it off the line, and correcting its guesses one by one takes longer than a single listen with a finger on the space bar. You already know where each line starts — you wrote it. So the timing is yours, and it is right the first time.

It also keeps the track where it belongs. There is no model to download and no server to send audio to: playback, timing and export all happen in your browser, so an unreleased demo never leaves your device.

Already have timecodes?

Paste an LRC or SRT file into the same box as plain lyrics and press “Apply timecodes” — every line lands where the file says. When you are done tapping, the timings download as an LRC file, so the work can be reused rather than redone.

Every line is editable

Tapping gets you close; the subtitle track gets you exact. Drag a block to move a line, drag its edge to change how long it stays, split a line at the playhead, loop one line while you nudge it, insert, copy and paste lines. If every line came in a touch early or late, shift all of them at once instead of fixing them one by one.

18 lyric styles

Lyric — big kinetic words for vertical video. TikTok, Pill and Marker — the caption looks people already know from feeds. Decode scrambles each line into place. Karaoke fills the line from left to right over the time it is on screen. Word punch and Beat flash hit with the drums, Phonk and Glitch bring the genre, Glass, Wave and Cascade move the text itself, and Gold Thread, Embers, Constellation and Neon draw light around it. Minimal is for when the words should simply be read.

Position, block width, size and colour are adjustable, and the lettering can react to the track — weight and width swell with the loudness — so the text moves with the music instead of floating above it.

FAQ

Does SLOVO sync the lyrics automatically? No. You tap each line in time while the song plays — it takes one listen — or paste an LRC or SRT file that already has timecodes. Lines pasted without timing are spread evenly across the track as a starting draft. How precise is tapping? As precise as your timing, and nothing is final: any line can be moved or stretched on the subtitle track, and all lines can be shifted earlier or later at once if you tapped consistently early or late. Can I make a lyric video for a song I don't own? Only with permission from the rights holders. For your own music you're fully covered — and since SLOVO runs locally, your unreleased tracks never touch a server. Which languages are supported? Any language: the words and the timing both come from you. The interface is in English, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Spanish, Portuguese and Indonesian. Is my song uploaded anywhere? No. Playback, timing and export all run in your browser; SLOVO has no server that processes audio.

Burned in, not a subtitle file

The words are drawn into the video itself rather than shipped as a separate subtitle track. Feeds have no concept of a subtitle file, and even on YouTube a viewer has to switch captions on. Burning them in means the video looks the same everywhere, in the typeface you chose rather than the platform’s default.

Typography that survives a small screen

Most lyric videos are watched at the size of a hand. That rules out thin weights, long unbroken lines and low-contrast colours over a busy scene. A narrow text block wraps onto several lines, so a long verse can sit to one side of the frame instead of covering the middle of it — and the visual behind the words stays visible.
