Bars that mean something

A spectrum bar visualizer on EDM is not decoration — each bar is a band, and on a well-mixed track you can read the drop coming as the low bars climb. Physics on the kick

SPRINGS launches a wave on every kick and lets it bounce off the frame edges. BALLS drop on the beat and settle in the breakdown. Both have mass and damping, which is why they read as physical rather than animated, and why they get more interesting on a syncopated pattern than on a straight four-on-the-floor. RADAR sweeps and leaves a fading mark on every hit — on drum and bass it becomes a drawing of the break.

Drop and build

The scenes react to the low end and the transients separately, so a filtered build with no kick reads as tension — bars low, springs still — and the drop reads as release. NEON SCAN over your own photo and BOLT over your logo are the two that hit hardest on the first bar after the drop.
